A wedding anniversary is a big event, and yet it is a very personal one to the couple, too. Choosing a gift for your wife can be a challenge, particularly since you must think of something new to give each year. Many people gain inspiration from the item that represents that many years of marriage. For example, the first year is paper. Two years of marriage are represented by cotton, and three equates to leather. The fifth year is wood, and the 10th is tin (or aluminium, if you prefer).
